I absolutely LOVE this dress! It is an alteration of a pattern that I have but I made it into a jumper. I added the trim at the bottom and the pockets for some detail. I can't wait for K to wear it!

the quiet book is cute too. my first attempt at my sewing machine was in order to make a quiet book. it turned out okay, the boys like it. it honestly took me close to three hours to figure out how to thread the darn thing though!
Wendy - I laughed at your comment. I have a dinosaur of a sewing machine, but I don't really want to get a new one and have to start all over getting used to it! Ugh!
Does anyone have a suggestion on a good make or model for a sewing machine?

suzanne - i had a "brother" machine and hated it... my new one i got on sale half price at target is a "shark" brand one... and i love it!
