Yummy Recipe & Freebie

I found this yummy and super easy treat recipe the other day and we've already made it three times! It's a fun one for the kiddos to help with and my little munchkin loved unwrapping kisses then later pressing m&m's into the melted chocolate. It's a Pretzel M&M Kisses (or Hugs) combo that I found on TaDa! Creations

We couldn't find the ring pretzels, but found the window shaped ones, and I actually like having more pretzel base to add a salty crunch- yum! These are a fun addition to Christmas goodie plates, or put a bunch in a bag and tie with one of the Christmas Gift Tags that you can download for free!

(These images below are low res copies, the ones you'll download are high res PDFs)

Just click on the design you like to download the PDF, then print out as many as you'd like for goodie plates, Christmas presents, or whatever else you're giving this holiday season.

Newest Christmas Card

With my little bubs being sick all night, I knew I wasn't going to get much sleep. So while he was in and out of restless sleep, I created this little number (notice a color theme going on with this card and the one in the post below... I think I have an obsession with those three colors together.) But it is available in two other colorways here. Make sure to scroll through and see all of the Christmas card options.

Ladybug Party: Printables

I love a reason to create something digitally. I do plenty of sewing, but making something playful and unique without using up tangible resources is always fun. So for my daughter's birthday I had the perfect excuse to create an invite and some other printables. You are the lucky beneficiaries of my after-the-kids-go-to-bed digital creations!

I created a page of punchables that you can use as cupcake toppers, favor tags, or whatever else you can think of.

After designing my daughter's invitation, I just altered it slightly to make it usable by all of you.

They are sized to be printed as a 5x7 image size. I made a generic one for any age, as well as customized invites for ages 1 year through 5 years. You can just add the party specifics, and even a photo of your cutie, in the empty fields.

**As a reminder, these printables are copyright and property of Kinzie's Kreations. These are for private, personal use only. Do not use for commercial use. Do not sell these files or printed creations.**

If you do end up using any of these, I would love to see how you use them. Feel free to email me pictures to be featured on this blog! ENJOY!

Wedding Workings: Directed

As guests entered the reception for my sisters wedding, we wanted a way to direct them through the correct doors. We had seen many wedding arrows across the internet, but wanted something a bit more custom and different. I simply used the same design idea as the invitation (using the Rhonna Swirls again), but this time I added a monogram and their wedding date.

I printed this out, cut it to size, and mod podged it onto a plaque that I painted white and slightly distressed. I drilled holes in the top of the plaque and ran ribbon through the holes to hang from a pole. (I forgot to take a picture of the completed project, but once I get one, I'll be sure to post it.) This was a quick and easy way to direct the guests.

(Update:  I used Trajan Pro for the caps font, Beautiful ES for the script font. There is also a Beautiful Caps ES which I used to create swash capitals at the beginning of words- like the script of the bride and groom's names on the invitation.)

Wedding Workings: Invited

I am so excited to share with you the many projects that I was able to create for my sister's beautiful wedding. She had a vision, and the end results were beautiful. Along the way, she realized that the most important thing was that she was marrying the perfect guy in the perfect place, and she let my mom and I take over some of the stressful details.

When it came to an announcement, she knew what she wanted, but couldn't find the exact design for the right price. Thus, I was enlisted to create a custom announcement. Purple and swirls were a requirement. I played around with different combinations until the announcement was created.
