The Key Fob

Many of you have probably seen lanyards and wristlets that attach to you key ring. If you don't have one yet, I recommend checking out The Key Fob. My mother-in-law got me one and I LOVE it! Believe it or not, I switched out my old Coach lanyard for my new Key Fob one- they're that cute and good! They have so many fun color combinations and their product is durable and high quality.
So head on over to their site to pick yours out and while you're there, grab a few as stocking stuffers! And right now they are offering Free Domestic Shipping!

October Preparedness...

I love the Fall, and I love Halloween. It's so festive and fun! Plus, with too kids to dress up, it makes the holiday even more exciting. There are so many fun Halloween ideas lurking on every blog to help us all get even more excited. Here are a few that I love and want to try:
I think these fun painted candy corn cones would be perfect for a block party or to have out while trick-or-treating. ZakkaLife shows you how to make your very own.

Soup is perfect this time of year. And there's no better way to serve a thick soup than in a bread bowl. Check out The Idea Room's pumpkin shaped bread bowls- they are so cute and look delish!

On to more candy corn (I LOVE candy corn!) Here is an adorable beanie and booties set from ForStitchesSake. Your little one would look so cute (and tasty) in these!

Here's another amazing idea from The Idea Room- Mummy Dogs. I'm definately going to try making these since my daughter loves hot dogs. She also shows you how to make Mummy Pizza. Two ideas too cute to be scary!

Here's one last candy corn item- A candy corn bunting from pamwares. I'm always a fan of a cute bunting, and this one is festive and unique!
Now I'm itching to throw a Halloween party. How are you getting in the Halloween spirit?

Let's Play

When we have a house, I want to have a fun little playroom for the kids. Here are two (of many many) things that would be so fun to have in it.
A craft table, complete with paper roll. Can you imagine having tons and tons of paper at your fingertips to paint, color, and make messes on?! This one is from PB Kids, but there are lots of options out there for children's craft tables. Love them! One of these little desks would be fun too. Aren't they a cute mini version of a grown-up's desk. These desks are now on sale at PB Kids for $150

A Perfect Match

Yes, my hubs and I are a perfect match, but in this case I'm talking about AMY BUTLER RUGS!! Can you believe it? Her new line of rugs will be available this month and I cannot wait. We've been looking for a rug for our living room for ages, and now I know exactly what I want. Well, not exactly because I love all of them and still can't decide which one I'll actual pick. I've always loved her fabrics, and now I can love her designs as I roll around on one of her rugs. Can we say new momma present (or maybe Christmas to be more practical... actually maybe I'll count it as a Christmas present but buy it in September... stop thinking out loud!)

Sew in Love

While browsing the enormous array of items sold on Etsy, I can across the most amazing children's toys from WoodClinic. Maybe I can influence K to take after her momma if I get her these:

For now, they are added to her birthday gift list...

I've got babies on my mind... (and in one in my tummy.) I never had professional newborn pictures of K taken, but I've been thinking about it a lot for #2. Here are some fun Etsy finds that can be used as photography props.

Sunday Sundries- Birthday

Todays Sunday Sundries is dedicated to my "baby" sister! Today she turns 19 years old, the last teenager in the family. So being in the birthday spirit, here are a few lovely birthday themed finds from Etsy.
I've always loved buntings, and am still designing one to go into K's big girl room. Here is a cheery one from MerigueDesigns:
I love cupcakes. They are so fun to decorate, and they look so petite and tasty. Here are some that at first glance appear real- want a taste? Visit The Fakery Bakery to get your own yummy felt cupcakes:
Who else forgets important dates, or uses their phone or facebook as reminders? I am guilty (don't worry sis, I remembered your birthday!) What a better and cuter way to remember birthdays, anniversaries, and other important dates, than this colorful calendar by MagnoliaMoonlight: Happy Birthday! Happy Anniversary! Happy Sunday! Hope you all have a lovely and cheery week!

Sunday Sundries- Organization

Sundries- plural noun; many different or small things.
In the spirit of craftroom organization, I have found some really fun things that I would love to add to my room. Once again, Etsy's artists show creativity and make me want to buy and be organized. I've decided to kick off Spring Cleaning in our house- maybe if I try to pass things off as necessities of spring cleaning/organization I can convince hubster that these are needs not wants...
JotItDown- weekly organizer
PrettyLilThings- pincushion

Paper Pumpkin- thumbtacks

Betz White- pincushion

So, like the picture above, I hope you have a sweet Sunday!

(P.S. My 100th blog post is not far away, meaning I've been thinking about a giveaway. However, for me to feel like it's worth the effort, an increase in comments is neccessary... I want to know what you guys think about the different types of posts and that my efforts are worth the time. Yup, this is a plea for comments! Luv you guys!)

I Make People...

My new craft station is coming along great. I can't wait to get it all done and show you my favorite new area in our home. I've been looking for art to decorate it with and I found some fun pregnancy art on etsy, and thought I'd share just a few with you.
This first is a funny find from MuthaCrafter. She has this logo on shirts, bags, and other products.
The next one is from papergardendesigns. It's called the Pickles and Cream print and thought it was cute.
I love this next one. I love the simplicity, and it is so fun and colorful. It is from creativethursday, go check out her other beautiful prints.
I love the unique and often one-of-a-kind art that I can find on Etsy. Now go support those crafters!

I wish I had 8 arms.

Wish I had this when we had to carry our "restock the kitchen cabinets in the new apartment" grocery bags. Too bad I still wouldn't have the arm strength...
